You could check in with UW Madison in the language department and see if they know of anyone there in Madison who needs a Polish translator; try the culture center, too. Also, stop in at the University hospital (they get patients from all over) and make yourself available as a translator. Take out an ad in the Classifieds of the newspaper offering translation services (here's a link to a list of WI newspapers, there are several to check out in Madison: http://www.usnpl.com/winews.html ).
Google Madison Wisconsin and see if you see any sites worth pursuing. If you want to use your Polish, you will have to look for a way to make your services known. Good Luck!
