I have not observed any significant decline in Insect numbers. ???
Have you ever placed a plate of ants in a microwave to get rid of them? It doesn't work, you end up with a microwave infested with ants. They really don't have much in the way of "brains" to fry.
Animals with bigger brains spending too much time in front of their computers? Another matter dude!!

Insect numbers are not declining. At least not in my neighborhood. I still have to kill them all the time!
