Most franchises pay a base salary and a commission on the returns prepared. It is common for the base to be in the area of $10.00 and hour to start plus the commission that is normally paid at the end of the season and is calculated with a percentage of the fees charged to the client for each return completed. Rarely will you make a great deal of money with a franchise but it is valuable experience.

But are you talking Salary? They might get $25 per hour, but the company will charge a flat fee or one of the rates above.
