At times, perhaps. Stopping Hitler involved killing. It involved war. So did stopping the imperial Japanese, whose atrocities in Asia were just as bad as anything the Nazis ever did.

I can justify killing plants and animals for foodl. I can justify killing animals for mercy, when they are irreparably injured.
I do not try to justify killing man under any circumstances. I fear capital punishment because of the possibility, however remote, of killing an innocent man. And I believe that war is never the sensible answer to the disputes of nations. So I do not justify killing humans.

There are 35 reasons to kill in the old testament. Everything from punishing the murder, to killing the sodomite, to killing the disobedient child who curses their parents (e.g. modern psychology). Since we are no longer operating as a theocracy as ancient Isreal did, then the application of these laws is debatable. It is notworthy to see that our common law death sentance crimes originated in the bible, and also that John Calvin instituted 275 reasons for execution when he captured Geneva.

Many times in the old testament, Jericho for one. In another story God instructs the Israelites to "Destroy them utterly."
Justifying it, especially in new testament terms, well that's a harder issue. In Jesus's teachings there is no justification for it, his ministry was/is one of peace and love. Turn the other cheek. Love you're enemy. In every instance in the Bible where he encountered people threatening the well being/life of another he stopped it -- except during his own crucifiction.

War for example imagine sitting back for hitler, self defence or the defence of others, When KING James ordered the bible translated not all scolars were of equal skill. The commandment Thou shall not kill should have read murder, very different things

As a Christian, I'm against the death penalty. However, as a mother, I can tell you that if anyone tried to hurt my children or grandchildren I could, if I had the means, kill in a heartbeat. Contradictory? Maybe. But I'd bet if you asked any mother, they'd tell you the same thing.

Legally you can kill in self defense. To clarify the innacurate statement about Muslims, the Qur'an says you can fight back when attacked. There are extremists who distort things for their own agendas, but the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful and not murderers.

when the pope declares a crusade. When we sentence some one to death. When some one refuses to believe in Christianity/Muslim. When some one sleeps with your sister just to get back at you for barrowing his video game when you were younger w/o asking and accidentally breaking the cartridge by blowing into it too hard and causing him to get beat up by his dad for wrecking a new game... hehehe jk about the last one. But from what i can tell from life, society dictates that the above are morally enforced.

Satan is a master at placing doubt in the minds of men. Why should someone else do what you can do yourself? If you're searching for the truth, read the Bible for yourself and pray for understanding.
