meet her personally. when you get to know her for real, you'll know exactly how she wants it to be... i do believe that there is a great chance of falling inlove on the net coz here, you get to feel more while you see less... so everything is left to imagination and fantasies... you create your own ideal world for both of you- something that is quite hard to maintain when you're together in a real world because of alot of distractions and hindrances...
but who knows, you might really end up together, it works for others anyway.

Chance of ' getting a girlfriend on the internet ' ? I guess that's what online dating sites are for and has good a chance as any other avenue. But be aware to communicate not too long on the internet. Make effort to meet in ' real world time '. Meet, come to know each other . . . the relationship goes on from there to take it's natural course of the relationship continuing or it fading out due to there not being continued mutual interest.
As far as how to propose to a girl on the internet . . . My answer is . . . NEVER. A proposal is such a precious moment and I feel a moment as that is to be shared lovingly gazing face to face, eye to eye, breath to breath. To miss the visual of a moment as that while asking for a woman's hand in marriage...to allow a precious moment of proposal to be hazed behind a computer I feel would be a sad error.

I suggest not to propose to a girl on the Internet. Its not romantic at all. Why don't you wait to go see her, unless you haven't even met in person. I would suggest to take things slow, you don't want to scare someone off. Also, asking someone to marry you is very serious, its not something you do just to express that you really like them, try going on dates.
