cuz i had a fever yesterday, and didn't do anything except sleep and watch tv...Only last night I took a few tylenol, and now I feel 100% better. The reason I didn't take anything is that I wanted my body to fight off whatever it was fighting....cuz that's how the body fights bacteria for example..by raising it's temperature...and I think it did just that...hopefully that's what happened...anyway, my fever is gone. thanks all

It is hard to believe that so many people do not know how to treat or handle a fever.......... for a fever that low you should do nothing, you should not treat a fever until it gets to 102 or higher. as a fever is part of your natural sickness fighter. this is what gets the ball rolling so to speak. if you have no fever your body will not take the next steps to battle whats making you sick. how ever its a fine line, if you get a fever fast and it gets to 103 or 104 you have to take action very fast. or anytime you have a fever that high. getting in a cool bath can help but not too cold. shock can become an issue too.

A fever of 100* isn't that bad. Take some tylenol or other fever reducer - if after 24 hours its still there; you might want to see a doctor. Most of the time it's just a virus and it will go away on its own in 24 - 48 hours.

Different people have various opinions about it, but for any fever you should take medicine to help bring the fever down, like ibuprofen (Motrin) or aspirin.

If the fever lasts for 3 days (or more), see a doctor!

you really shouldn't take anything. You had a fever for a reason and that's to help fight an infection. but if it were really high, much higher than 100degrees then taking tylenol is a good choice.

If I have asprin I'd take a couple, and continue. I found that I can function up to a 103 temperature.
