336 was standard for many many years,but now many company's make balls with larger and smaller dimples,thus that number varies !

Time was that there was a standard answer for this, and it was typically around 300. Today, advanced manufacturing has allowed the various golf ball manufacturers to create proprietary designs that include different dimple sizes and patterns, which means that different models of balls have different dimple counts, even when made by the same manufacturer. For example, the Titleist Pro V1x has 7 different types of dimples for a total of 332, while the Titleist DT Solo has 5 different types of dimples, totaling 392.
Interestingly, DIMPLIT, INC. has introduced a golf ball with 1070 dimples. 656 small dimples and 414 large dimples offering the most even surface ever on a golf ball.
