im fluent in another language , so i want to find pat time job as freelance translator.I dont know where to start.

The first is a translation melting pot. The others give a good view of the problems that you can run into with languages by Claude Piron, an ex-UN translator and psychologist.

I got a job when a local company came up with a big job and needed extra translators. So make sure that the companies that could hire you know that you exist and are looking for translation work.

translation is tough, you may need to finish that degree because even native speakers and masters levels have difficulties with the work. not to be negative, but try teaching first. there is abundant work in teaching second languages, especially in summertime positions.

someone can help if you specifie the language, also your specialised field you may be very good in politics but useless in financial. good luck.
