Love is a chemical reaction, combined with a hormonal release that affects both your psyche and your body, usually to the detriment of the "lover".
Symptoms may include irregularities in sleep patterns, irrational thought patterns, often involving the object of affection, a decrease in normal social activity, as well as a slight and temporary drop in intelligence. (this is all fact, look it up.)
More physical signs are a "fluttering in the stomach" (which also can actually occur), slight nausea, light headedness and sexual arrousal.
You may find yourself day dreaming about them, thinking about them consantly, have a desire to hang out with them above and beyond your usual group of friends, and feel like you would do anything to be with them, and that you wouldn't be able to stand being without them.
You can show love through a series of gestures etc.
Eye contact is a big one. Often, eye contact can cause a whole other kind of chemical reaction, often referred to as the "click" or "spark". It's not known much about, other than that when people make eye contact with a person they find attractive, a series of chemicals is released into the bloodstream, and particular neurons start firing that are otherwise passive.
The others are compliments, increased physical contact, hugging, teasing, kissing, holding hands, social activities, and, of course, intercourse, though now reccomended if you don't know if they love you.
Ways you can tell if someone loves you is look for the signs listed above. Men may also get jealous when other men approach you, speaking poorly of guys that do, trying to dissuade you from them and even sometimes physical conflict.

Hello clueless - you will only know when you are actually in love. It feels really amazing - you will be so attracted to them that your body has a wierd reaction when you are near them. They will make you feel great about yourself and even better when you are together as a team. You will know someone loves you if they would do anything for you and can't stand being away from you. They would also treat you with the greatest respect and accept you just as you are without trying to change anything. Honestly, you will know when it happens to you. Best of luck.

its like a possession of your being and eventhough you know youre you, something will be different.
theres no list on how to show love. its just like a reaction on how youre feeling, both head and heart combined.
if a person loves you, he must prove it. proving will depend on your circumstances, but best proof is effort, if he has limited time, he must make time for you. he must take pains to get to know you better including your likes and dislikes, your family and friends.

Dont worry about questions like this. When you find love or love find you .. you will know. Its not a small thing that you dont notice. its a feeling that overwhelms you. Once you are in love you will know how to show it.

love is the feeling which can overcome on all feelings. most of the time you will be unable to explain it in words. love is emotion, you show to others to express the feeling you are having for others. love has no boundries, no restrictions, no face and no race. thats why its called love.
