mIRC is the software used for IRC chat. once you've installed the software you'll need to find a network (server) to connect to - there are thousands all over the world, some cater to specific interests. mIRC comes loaded with a standard list of servers available, however you can also add your own. each server has thousands of "rooms" (chat rooms) so you'll need to sift through those as well. the link below has a list of some karaoke rooms available on different servers.
