In my opinion, if the guy has self-control, he should be able to withstand the urge or simply live with the fact missing a woman's affections. However, this is very hard. Because humans get lonely, ultimately they need someone, mentally or physically to please them.
I believe a woman cant live without a man's affections too.

i was divorced 10 years ago. and i have not had sex with anyone after that. I am still living and quiet healthy both physically and mentaly. its all depend on yourself how long can you control on yourself.

Some don't care if they have it at all. Some want it every day. So it depends on the person.
