I am 24 years old guy - and I am not ashamed still being a virgin. The purpose of this question is are you a virgin? If you are, why? Does it bother you? It would be nice to know that I not the only person in this world. ;-) Serious Question

I wish I'd have waited til I found Mr Right. Nothing to be ashamed of, I think it's lovely. My husband was a virgin when I met him, he was 21. There was a question on here a few days ago about someone being a virgin at your age. You are not the only one.

I was a virgin until 23...if i waited just one more stinkin year i would've met my fiance and still been a virign, she would've been too...and we could've fulfilled our lifelong dream of marrying a virgin and sharing our gift with each other....but at 23 i lost hope because of a lot of bullsh*t i dealt with with the immature women...from women at 26 to those at freakin 37 (yea age was nothing but a number and STILL went through drama), anyway, i lost hope on love and just decided i don't want to wait til i'm 26 or so to give it to some women who's already done it (cause most women have lost it around 18-22 age), and it would mean nothing because for some ungodly reason women prefer a man with experience, not to mention other issues. So i gave it away...wrong person too, as it ended up being just a fling...then i had 3 more before i met my fiance...who shut me up when she told me she was a virgin, 20, and eventually we had a strong relationship.
When i was a virgin it didn't bother me, i use to get props all the time, actually i felt better because i wasn't another stupid statistic as all these damn casual sex cliches are, i kept my morals and respectable character that i had..so for me it just reassured me my wife would be the happiest woman alive when i gave her my gift.
Well after the constant heartbreaks, and the women who treated me like "the nice guy" that couldn't satisfy their hunger for sexual thrills and young experiences, i kinda lost hope on finding my mate as i explained earlier....so...do i regret it? Nah...my choice, besides wanted to know what the fuss was all about anyway, and trust me dude, random sex ain't sh*t in comparison to sex when you're in love....my fiance was and IS the best woman i've had sex with EVER....and that's because we're in love, the last 4 i messed with were flings...and they SUCKED because it was just selfish pleasure on both our parts...and i got nothing because i wasn't into it...it wasn't real..it was just....sex. But with her, because i love her and my connection with her...it's freakin incredible....i just wish i had that gift to offer to her because she deserved it WAY more than the worthless chicks i screwed before.....i was just a d*ck with legs to them.
So be proud man, don't be bothered with it..and don't listen to the pricks that insult you or call you a wuss....don't be part of the statistics...you are a rare breed, and what you have is a great gift that most DECENT women would kill for....so just think man whatever girls has your heart also has something that no one will ever be able to claim...it's a wonderful thing man....it really is.

A Friend of my then girlfriend was a virgin till she was 22 but after she lost it she said she should not have bothered waiting, my personal opinion is that people put to much emphasis on sex, as you get older you realise that sex is only a part of a relationship (a nice part) but only a part, so I would say carry on if you are happy but please don't place sex on a high pedestal or you might be a tad disappointed when you lose your virginity.

ok im not a virgin lost it at 15 but my best friend is 26 and still a virgin, she's not waiting for marriage exactly but for someone she trusts, there is nothing weird about being a vigin, it will just make everything that bit more special when you do find someone

i have 2 friends who are still virgin at the age of 30 its very common thing in our culture. if you are still virgin at the age of 24 it means that you are very carefull choosing a nice person for you. wish you coluld find her very soon.
