Someone who is interested in me has been writing me poetry. The fact that he takes the time to put on paper what is sometimes difficult to say verbally impresses me immensely. Even if the words aren't perfectly put together, most women with a heart and half a brain would find this very romantic, and is a clever way to let them know how sincere you are. If she's not happy, write to someone else. There's lots of deserving, beautiful (inside & out) women out there that would love to have someone like you. Go for it.

This is a tricky one. First evaluate the creep factor of your poetry. Is it all about you being madly in love with her etc. and the whole dying for her thing and all that?
Because that'll creep a girl right out, guaranteed.
Also is this a girl you are close to and trust alot?
If not, I would think twice, or else she might just laugh at you and think you're a creep.
If it's just good poetry and you want to share it with her, and it's not overly stalkerish, and you trust her to take it for what it is (just a really nice gesture by a guy that likes her), go for it, couldn't hurt.

DOn't listen to any of the guys who answer this question because any girl would love poetry as long as it's not cheesy. I'd love to get poetry from a guy, go for it.

if you put in a huge wad of cash then yes otherwise she is going to look at you and say AWW isnt that nice, crumple up your poetry and chuck it in the garbage. Nothing says I love you to a woman more than a fist full of jacksons

if u think she likes you back then i say give it to her. if she doesnt even know u exist, look at it from her point of view, "a guy i barely know is writing me romantic poetry?"

Yes I would. Just do it. Don't listen to that guy above because he isn't a girl and knows nothing about what they like. The only reason she wouldn't like it is if she was stup up or very mean and cold hearted.

I don't know, but she should be flattered that you took the time to write something nice for her. If she doesn't respond well to the first poem you write for her then its probably a good idea not to give her any more poems.

what kind of girl is she? if she looks like stuck up or very prissy, better not. but if shes your normal girl, and your poem is good (not too mushy, i hope), she'll like it. but just to be sure - avoid the drama of handing it yourself, youre risking her violent reaction =P just slip it in her locker or something.
