Autopsy and clinical studies have associated gestational lyme borreliosis with fetal death, hydrocephalus (laymen call this "water on the brain"), cardiovascular anomalies, neonatal respiratory distress, hyperbilirubinemia (too much bilirubin in the blood), intrauterine growth retardation, cortical blindness, SIDS and maternal toxemia. Stillbirth is a known and proven possibility. It is not know if these are coincidental or related so further investigation is needed.

I'm sorry but I don't really understand what you are asking with this question: "had they recently been reported negative of lyme borreliosis on fetus?" If you are asking if the fetus was tested and found negative for the disease, to my knowledge, there is no way to test the fetus. However, the newborn can be tested.

As for how it is currently treated in pregnancy, it is treated only if the women is diagnosed with lyme borreliosis. She is usually not treated if just bitten by a tick. Treatment consists of antibiotics, usually amoxicillin, for 10 days. The drug of choice, doxycycline, cannot be given to pregnant or nursing women.
