I want a few pointers on what kind of career path should I aim for...?

Hi. I'm currently in my final year of Engineering in India. I have suffered 2 year losses due to irresponsibility. Now Im almost done but I fear I will be completing my course with a total GPA of 2 only. This is equivalent to a 60% according to some screwed up formula our university came up with. Anywayz, I would like to do my MBA somewhere outside India...can any one give me any good suggestions where i can do this, considering my screwed up performance? Im really worried about my future and Im interested in Networking. Ive also decided to pursue the CCNA certification. Plz Help....Thanks

hey u guy........... u have a very low GPA.......... it is too tuff to get an MBA any where outside..... u may get it if u have a score above 1590 out of 1600 in GRE.........ALL THE BEST & WORK HARD AS MUCH U CAN.......

Best thing to do now, is to finish as well as you can. Don't even think of dropping out - that would be the end of a poor start.

Do the very best you can - perhaps you can raise your GPA a bit, who knows. Then consider finding some work for a few years, doing an MBA right out of school is most of the time a waste of money and time as it gives you answers to questions you don't have yet.

Consider also what makes you happy - that is the career to choose. We all are a lot smarter and better when doing stuff we enjoy! following your passion is the best way to ensure a successful future, whether that will include an MBA or not.

hi, firstly u need to understand what kind of personality is urs. U have to know wht suits u the most. some tips are--
1.Are u good at computers- software or hardware part?
2.If u want to pursue MBA then u need to have that personlity in u. Do u feel u interest in Business adminstration?. Orelse it would have a bad effect on u in future if u take up a wrong career path.
Dont worry. This is common at this age. U just need to focus on ur inner self and go accordingly. U can understand this from ur past incidents and experiences.

It's better to try for MBA in India at any of the IIMs which can bring brilliant jobs for you. I think you have to remove from mind that 'All foreign things are the best'
