Over the holidays I was at my sisters house and met her bf for the first time. At first he seemed like a really nice guy. He is in his late 30's. Then I noticed him checking out our 19 year old niece in a kind of creepy way. He was more than just appreciateing her beauty. I got the creeps big time. My sister is crazy about this guy. My bf doesnt think I should tell. I dont know. Do you think he crossed the line? I know guys check out girls, but this is family to his girlfriend. How bad is this? I think my niece was uncomfortable with it also.

My sister is beautiful, but she is no longer 19. Why do guys have to be so creepy? Young girls feel uncomfortable when an old guy checks them out. Especially if they are "part of the family".

I think that you should tell her, but before you do talk to your niece and make sure you weren't just seen things and if she agree with you then go tell your sister. she has the right to know. and you never know who this guy is going to check out next, there's a lot of sick men out in this world especially after a few drinks! another thing if he was checking her out and she notice and keeps her mouth shut he's going to think that she is interested and may try something in the future. Good luck!

Find out if indeed your niece was uncomfortable, then decide whether to tell or not because more than likely it's going to upset your sister, it also gives you the opportunity to tell your niece that while you may be wrong about his "looking" if at any point she's not happy with his actions she can come to you. You didn't say who the niece is the daughter of, if she is your sisters daughter and this man will be around her then you have to consider that he may do more than just check her out when fewer people are around.

What do you mean by creepy ? how can you judge a person without knowing him properly. What if that person thinks you were creepy ?? Did your niece feel the same way too ? Feel free to discuss any concerns with your niece and sister. But its incorrect to judge a person like this.

Even though your sis may not believe you, I think you should tell her....trust your intuition, tell her about the bad feeling you had and how you think your niece felt about it. If that don't work then you can use the old guilt thing, telling her she choosing a man over family otherwise she's just gonna have to learn the hard way. Best of luck!

There's no doubt about it... Go ahead and tell ur sister. U say that ur sister is crazy about him.. Well, that being the case she must be notified about this because she must know as to what kind of guy she's crazy about.. So, Do tell her..
She might not accept it at the beginning but, i'm sure She'll respect ur words.. I'm sure she'll understand UR CARE for her and for ur niece.
Yes, he has definitely crossed the line.. U please take care of urself and ur niece. If possible try passing this or sharing or notifying the elders of ur house about this issue.. And also try to tell ur sister to be safe and very cautious.
ANd please see to that u have ur niece with u.. I'm sure she'll be feeling bad over this issue so,...
just hangout with her.. spend some time with her.. may be in some park or in a movie theatre..
Try to increase her morale and tell her to keep her doors and windows shut.. locked especially.
I know its kind of not right for men to check over girls especially within family but, i just want tell u that please don't have teh assumption that every guy in this world does such rude, disgusting thing...
There are guys who love their family especially sisters, niece and other family members and they miss them too.
"Men are cruel but man is kind!"
Hope u resolve the situation soon.. May God bless u ur sister and ur niece..
I hope i haven't hurt u in any way, but incase if i had.. i'm sorry

Yes tell her. She should be informed. But don't be like "Your boyfriend was checking (nieces name) out" Say that you think you saw him oggling her. You can never be 100% sure what someone is thinking but you can be pretty confident. You really should tell your sister! You dont have to "give the guy a break". If you feel like this I think its best to inform your sister. You don't know that your sister won't beleive you. . .so tell her. It's always worth a try.

you're able to by no skill have a good courting which comprise your sister lower back, despite the fact that this is extra important that she know who she has married (with any luck in the previous she has any babies). believe me, if he slept with you, he has slept with different adult adult males (and in all probability women persons) and is risking her existence via exposing her to STD's no count how careful he's. this is no longer approximately you to any extent further. this is approximately your sister's destiny and her deserving a good existence with an more advantageous half dedicated to in straightforward terms her. you will at last pop out of the closet besides. in case you quite love your sister, despite if it skill dropping her, you will do the terrific suited ingredient.

give the guy a break. all men are like that. If he behaved in a rude or lewd manner, then say something. If nothing happened besides him eyeing her up and down, don't mind it. Just my opinion. It doesn't automatically make him a bad guy.

All guys look. Some are more subtle than others.
In fact I'll bet YOUR BF has checked out your 19 yo cousin thoroughly.
Get over it, it happens.

It will be better if your niece can tell your sister because she was the victim directly.
