Blasphemy against the Spirit
- Therefore, I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven (Matthew 12:31)

Is the sin of attributing to Satan
- But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, "This man drives out demons only by the power of Beelzebul, the prince of demons." (Matthew 12:24)

What is the work of the Spirit of God
- But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. (Matthew 12:28)

We really do not know why Jesus said this sin is unforgivable.

With love in Christ.

Many people have been tormented by the thought that they have blasphemed the Holy Spirit and placed themselves beyond forgiveness. In fact, it is the feeling of torment which is a sign that the Holy Spirit is still working in their hearts and drawing them towards repentance and forgiveness. When Jesus spoke of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, He was addressing religious leaders who had hardened their hearts against Him and against the manifestation of God's work in Him. There comes a point where the human heart is so intransigent and so determined to resist God that it places itself beyond repentance. Anyone who is still open to the working of the Holy Spirit in his or her life can reach out and receive God's forgiveness. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit was once defined to me years ago as looking at God, seeing Him for what He is, and nevertheless spitting in His face.

Blaspheming the Holy Spirit means to spit in His face and reject (rejecting God, is a way to blasphemy) Him and say He is false and that He is sent by Lucifer and that He is not God. When He heals people you say it's not true the Devil must have done that not God. Denying His existence and his works.

The whole concept of blasphemy is an oxymoron. If god is perfect as claimed by his inventors, he is in a constant state of perpetual bliss. Therefore he is not capable of being angry or jealous or vengeful. These are human emotions that would be exhibited by humans who were insulted by hearing anything negative said about the god they invented. The notion of the holy spirit is the way we describe the instinctive feeling we have inherited from our distant forefathers to embrace the tribal superstitons and rituals that our primitive tribal ancestors possessed for thousands of years.

It is the only Sin that God will not forgive...You have to have been to a United Pentecostal Church and received the holy ghost...then you leave the church (backslide) and profess that there is nothing to the spirit...It is Bad...It doesn't exist...things like that...there are very few people in this world that have ever done such a thing
