Yes they can. It's accepted right now, but in the late 60's the guys has to propose to the girls, not the other way around, it was accepted that the girls could propose to guys in the 80's
it's now legal that girls could propose to guys. You see, before we get married, we have to vow that we could get married. Marriage is an eternal/permanent promise and a bond between a couple to live together and stay together unitl they die (which means apart).

Sure they can propose marriage. It's definitely nontraditional but i've known people to do it. Personally I look forward to seeing my boyfriend down on one knee asking me to be the person he spends the rest of his life with. But I guess you can have the same feeling being the one asking for his hand in marriage.

If she loves him and he is not threatend by a strong women why not we as females have moved not totally from being slaves but partners in a relationship.But one needs to be sure the other party wants to get married as well.And i think women are more romantic unless you Italian and we know how to get the mood right for a certain occasion.

Umm well this is the 21st century, so of course you can. But personally, I've always been a bit traditional (even for a teenager) and I believe the guy should do it. But if you wanna, go for it, and good luck!
