The bible is a compilation of myths, legends and superstitious nonsense, it was intended as campfire stories for the children of primitive ancient Hebrew tribes. It was not meant to be taken seriously by level-headed 21st Century adults for Christ's sake!

Noah and the Flood.

one pair (2) of the unclean animals

seven pairs (14) of the clean animals were taken on the ark.

Some of the 14 clean animals was used for sacrifices after the flood receeded; and after the flood Noah and his family was given permission to eat the clean animals for food.

About the famine you mentioned; I do not have a bible in easy reach because I am reading this from a friend's house.

About the robe Jesus wore; it was purple in order to mock Jesus. Purple is the color of royalty, and Jesus claimed to be the king of the Jews.

Gen 7:9 they went in by twos to Noah inside the ark, male and female, just as God had commanded Noah.

It says they went in by two's, clean and unclean.

It doesn't say there are only 2 unclean.

I am just guessing but I think the door to the ark only was large enough to let 2 in at one time.

Bird / Bat are english terms to discribe what modern scientist classify as family groups. I would have to reference the hebrew terms.

John 19:1 At that time, therefore, Pilate took Jesus and scourged him. 2 And the soldiers braided a crown of thorns and put it on his head and arrayed him with a purple outer garment;

Did you mean one robe? and not rope?

(Purple and scarlet, depending on the light of the witness telling it could appear either. The bible is not a document that is dictated by God, It is honest eye witnessed accounts, by compare all witnesses the truth is revealed.)

The bible is instruction and not meant to be a technical manual.God knows all men don't, that you might find that men got a few things wrong may disturb you but the Bible was inspired not transcribed.There is much in the book that man did not discover for many centuries.Like the reasons behind the food and health laws.

Foolishness was the choice method of God to save the world because he thought so little of the ability of Satan.You will follow which ever you choose.in the end you will know.

I am Muslim,
evey Muslim believe in Jesus and Bible too.
We consider Jesus as prophet of God, not as a son of God.

there are four books in Islam, all four came on diferent prophets
I know about only two
Jesus = Bible
Mohammad = Quran

It is mentioned in Last book Quran that all 3 books are corrupt and impure, but God has taken the resposibility of Quran. It will remain pure for ever.

People have changed the text of other three books for thier own sake and purpose.

We also belive on Noaha, he was messenger of God, and there were hunderds of pairs of different animals and birds.

2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.......... 8 Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
9 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.
Now first before you grasp spiritual understanding I think you are going to have to grasp the English language...Verse two take to thee (he took seven clean animals)....Verse nine how they entered the Ark in twos.... first he told how many he had and then he told how they entered the ark in pairs. Now let us debate whether purple and scarlet are shades of red? If you wish to seek for contradictions perhaps you should work harder...Now open your book again and seek the truth and you might just receive a gift called revelation and your soul might be saved...EDIT: No one answered your question? Apparently you are not capable of receiving the truth. I am sorry that you are seeking controversy and not seeking the truth it is available to all who seek and have value in the truth.

We will begin with verses 8 and 9. In these verses, Moses does not indicate how many of each species went into the ark, merely that as they entered into the ark, they went two by two. It is a statement of the orderly manner in which they entered. It was not a stampede of unruly animals, nor a single file of beasts, but as they entered, it was two and two. These verses in no way contradict verse 2, where Moses is told how many of each beast is to go into the ark. Of clean beasts, there would be seven groupings of two (7 male, 7 female). Of the unclean beasts, there would be two (1 male, 1 female). Consider the wording of Young's Literal Translation, "of all the clean beasts thou dost take to thee seven pairs, a male and its female; and of the beasts which are not clean two, a male and its female."
There is no contradiction.

at-al-lafe': of uncertain derivation; a bat:--bat.

How many years of famine were there? Thre was 2 famines of 3,5 years
Certainly, with a hurried look, 2 Samuel 24:13 and 1 Chronicles 21:11 seem to be contradictory. However, I would suggest that the questioner slow down and read the Scriptures more carefully (and in context), for these texts are in full agreement.
1. David's choices of punishment for his sin before the Lord were:
- 1 - three years of famine;
- 2 - three months to be destroyed before his enemies;
- 3 - three days of pestilence in the land.
In the 1 Chronicles 21 account, these three choices are given to David. Notice, that the latter two choices are parallel in the 2 Samuel 24 account, but the first choice is different, both in the number of years mentioned and in the way the punishment is worded. The Lord there does not invite David to chose 3 years of famine, but rather asks, "...shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land?"
In 2 Samuel 21:1, it is written, "...there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David enquired of the LORD. And the LORD answered, It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites." Three years of famine had already occurred. Add to this the current year (the time which passed from 2 Samuel 21:1 to 2 Samuel 24:13), and then the three years of famine as recorded in 1 Chronicles 21:11, and you have seven years of famine.
There is no contradiction.
The questioner has proven that he is capable of removing a text from its context, and attempting to set it against other texts removed from their context. He has by no means proven that God is inconsistent in His character, nor that the Bible contradicts itself.
1. Both Jeremiah 13 and 1 Samuel 15 deal with situations where a group of people were due judgment upon them for disobedience or evil conduct. The other texts mentioned (James 5:11; 1 Chronicles 16:34; Psalm 145:9; 1 John 4;16) express the Lord's goodness upon those who are obedient to His will.
The apostle Paul wrote, "Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off." (Romans 11:22) God's goodness is upon some, His severity upon others. Our conduct before Him is what determines which is upon us.
There is no contradiction.
That a different group of soldiers is mentioned by Luke than by the other gospel writers is evident. Luke attributes the arraying of Jesus "...in a gorgeous robe..." to those who were with Herod. And yet, Matthew, Mark and John indicate that the soldiers of Pilate dressed Him in a "...purple robe..." and spat upon Him and struck Him. That both groups of soldiers are attributed with placing a robe upon Him is obvious. However, this does not necessitate a contradiction.

It could be that the soldiers of Herod placed the robe upon Him, that they might mock Him, but that it was removed, whether by Pilate or by the soldiers who returned Him to Pilate. Then, before taking Him to be crucified, the soldiers of Pilate likewise placed the robe upon Him, that they too might mock Jesus. There is no reason why both groups of soldiers could not have done to same thing.

There is no contradiction here.

i think that "god" is an superior awareness that us human beings are turning out to be attentive to as we are turning out to be self-conscious. as quickly as we die, all of us go beyond to this bigger awareness. This H.C. does not artwork like god contained in the bible works, yet extremely strikes issues and creates issues in a single of those way that curiously logical to technological expertise. i.e evolution. we are right here with the aid of fact of god, yet he has created us by coming up mutations in our historic ancestors. God and Jesus are purely strategies that superior while there develop into no different rationalization for organic reasons. In those days, human beings have been scared and have been finding for reasons with the aid of fact reasons make element seem greater effective. do no longer mysteriescontinual you loopy? nicely, lower back then, human beings purely jumped to the top and pronounced it develop into an act of god. yet now, we see that it develop into with the aid of fact of particular forces contained in the universe. yet tell me, once you notice the international, how is it that we've been given so fortunate to have this planet, and in case you seem in any respect the stats in comparison occurring (there are billions of different planets out contained in the universe, yet we nonetheless have not got here across yet another planet that holds existence) you recognize that god is contained in the mixture. he purely makes use of the forces of the universe, purely such as you employ your hand to flow in the process the universe, to create. As for the sturdy and evil, we would desire to continually have it. if we've been "suited" we'd be static, unchanging, and in no way evolving. we does not be the place we are immediately if it weren't for evil. that's the thesis and the antithesis that create the synthesis.
