I know what lust is, because every time I see a girl I am attracted to I think about how much I want to bang her. Not that I do because that would be wrong. But I have never feel in love before is it much different? If it is how can you tell. Can you tell from the first moment you see each other? What are the signs?

You'll know with time. In the beginning, it is almost always lust - you have to know someone before you can love them.

love and lust are different things on their own and also have different meanings. love simply means the way by which a man like and love a woman 4 no particular reason and it's always the best while lust simply means a situation where by a man dates a woman 4 no reason than to make love to her and later dump her after making her to realise thathe would marry her.as far as i'm concerned it's what's called lust u practise with ur girl friend and it's not always the best 'cos it's makes a man loose the person who is his wife.for u to have never 4all in love may be because u have not seen the right person.when imet my guy we like each other and we started studying each other.from that we knew what we wanted for ourselves mean while we don't play around and we being together for long and we as well love ourselves.

Since you already know that lust is just basically a strong biological sexual urge, I will only agree that both men and women find the other sex very attractive and desireable due to hormonal influences and the basic wiring of our nervous systems. Mating is a very powerful biological imperative.
Love is caring about another person in such a way as to consider them and their needs on a par or superior to your own desires and needs. It can occur at a biological, emotional, mental, and/or spiritual level. Greater love has no person than the one willing to sactifice everything for the beloved.
Lust is basically self-gratification; love is the complete giving of oneself to another.
Have a happy, prosperous, healthy New Year filled with love!

Normally I would not cut and paste, though I have always liked this story.

THIS IS WHAT LOVE IS ALL ABOUT
It was a busy morning, approximately 8:30 am, when an elderly gentleman in his 80's, arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He stated that he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am. I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would to able to see him. I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound.

On exam it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound. While taking care of his wound, we began to engage in conversation. I asked him if he had a doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife. I then inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for awhile and that she was a victim of Alzheimer's Disease. As we talked, and I finished dressing his wound, I asked if she would be worried if he was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now. I was surprised, and asked him. "And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?" He smiled as he patted my hand and said. "She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is."

I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought, "That is the kind of love I want in my life." True love is neither physical, nor romantic. True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be.

"The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything that comes along their way."
