I am inlove with him..He's extremely smart (intellectual), artistic, he's dedicated to his work. It makes me feel as if he's much more metally developed than me. Sometimes you would least expect a nerdy guy to fall for a girl rite? Thats the conflict here...It doesn't mean that I have a low self- esteem, because I know that I'm talented and smart also. But because he's extremely smart then he would'nt care to take a peek of me. Will you guys set ur eyes on a girl who u think is more dumb than you?

Girl here: Sounds like a good match for you....You don't have to be as intelligent as he is, just learn from him......and why would he not go for you, simply because he is smarter? Don't get me wrong, smarts are important, but so is personality, compassion, generosity, and all the other things that come together to make you who you are. And where do you get off saying he's a nerd, simply because he is smart.....open your mind a little, and accept the fact that you deserve a good guy, then just let it happen.....

I think guys do it all the time, it makes them feel better about themselves. But, if he is WAY smarter, that could be a problem-like, if you can't even hold a conversation with him, that might turn into too much of a problem. I think overall, guys just want someone who is sweet to them and cares for them, even if she isn't SUPER smart. Based on your photo though, I'm wodnerinf if maybe you are a teeny bit too focused on your looks-maybe take some of that focus and put it on your intellectual development. You sound like a sweet girl, work that, focus on your other strong points (and not just that you're pretty!)

Of course i would and i have - and not for the wrong reasons, i have been with women who come across to be stupid but there actually not. There just in the wrong circles or lack motivation. I don't think you have low self esteem as you are just trying to overcome a issue. The question here is would you get bored of him. If not then I'm sure you be smarter than him in no time.

Opposites attratct. History has it that guys love to be the dominant figure in the relationship. So it might just work out for you guys. Go for it but in the mean time smarten yourself up. You want to match his wits and intellect and intelligence in order to have that power and prestige and utilize it in that right way okay. Therefore take measures to make sure you have what it takes to deserve and keep a guy like him.

Is there any other differences?? Are you the same age, race, religion, or anything else?
It sounds like there might be more differences than you mentioned. If he is a teacher or old enough to be your dad, back away. Pump up that self esteem and get someone like yourself.

you are being hard on yourself
have you thought that you may have qualities that would appeal to him?

just because he may be 'smarter' doesnt mean you wouldnt be suitable to eachother
