And I know I shouldn't because it's bad for me, but this is the experimenting time in my life, and sometimes i smoke ciggarettes and pot, not often only rarely, but the guy i like doesn't smoke and is totally against it. He's never been drunk before, and has never done anything that his parents wouldn't approve of.
I like this guy heaps what should I do?

i agree with those of you who said drugs/drinking/smoking isn't cool, and because I like this guy heaps, he is more important to me than any substance.

If you see a future with him stop smoking and drinking you yourself will benefit from it in the long run.

You have to consider what is most important. Keeping him or keeping your habits? My husband knew from day one that I didn't accept drinking; he told me it was no big deal, it wasn't important to him, he would stop it because I didn't like it. A year and a half later (and right around our first wedding anniversary) I found out that he never had any intentions of stopping and he's been doing it the whole time and lying and covering up. Can you imagine how pissed I am now? He has lost my trust and respect, and I don't know if he's ever going to get it back. Please consider your options carefully.

Really, smoking pot and cigarettes are not a good environmental think to do. Drinking has its down falls, but in moderation it is tolerated. Get your boyfriend to meet your folks, extended family and friends and show him that drinking and smoking is not such a big issue. I would say pot would be out, and smoking would be out at a certain age as well.
If he truly loves you, you can grow together to work it out.

Kill two birds with one stone. Give it all up to be with him. It'll make your life much better all around. Smoking makes you stink, pot makes you high, and drinking gets you in trouble, so why do any of it? He's doing you a big favor.

Sounds to me like you are under age. Under age drinking, smoking and drug use can lead to a pretty miserable life. Who are you trying to impress? This garbage is not only not cool, it is illegal for a reason. This guy seems pretty bright to me. Maybe you should follow in his foot steps.

find a guy who accepts you as you are.
ALthough he is telling you stuff for our own good, if you dont believe it then it is just controlling behavior.
If you dont stop drinking and smoking he will lose interest in you anyway so better cut it off now before your heart breaks

Your body...your choice in my opinion. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices when in relationships so this is really gonna be up to you.
