We've always talked about what do with our cat if he died, the best suggestion seemed to be have him thoroughly cleaned by a professional and have him as a hot water bottle cosy or teapot holder, his tail would be perfect for the spout, although I wouldn't really want to do that, so maybe he could be made into a statue.

Hmm seeing my dead cat stuffed, mounted, or whatever will definitely freak me out. I'd rather leave my pet's body in peace under the ground with a respectful burial. That's what I did. Burying your pet will also help you to recover and move on soon. The feeling might be too great for now but things will be alright. Just let your cat and it's body rest in peace and let go.

Your cat has died.

Get over it and bury him. the sooner you get him off your mind the better you will be. I'm sure he would like a decent burial anyway.

But always keep him in your heart.

The power of letting go,is a gift from God...the poor guy aint dead he just transcended into another life,if you had pictures of him that should be enough, if you loved him that much, then your mind and soul shouldnt have a problem with giving him what he truely deserves..to Rest in Peace..

Get your kitty cremated. And put his ashes in your garden or something. Or keep them in an urn. That way you know his essence will always be with you.

I dont recommend stuffing your kitty because whenever you walk past him, it will remind you of your deceased cat. And it may bring back all these emotions again.

1st of all, my deepest condolences.

2nd, i just wish you could bury the cat because i think it's not human to just stuff a body and so on... Because you love this animal, just leave him rest in peace...

I love animals very much and i know how you feel. On a full moon night go to a field or a park and bring your dead cat,a few candles with you. Dig a grave and place the the beloved kitty in. Then suround it with the candles and lit them. Say these word while looking to the moon.
I call upon the spirits of the night
I call upon thee who bring the animals to their pass
take care of my(the name of your kitty) and make sure he/she enters the next life piesfully
upon this night i ask you to withess the leaving soul of this animal and to take care of it in it's next life
So mote it be...

i did this when my dog passed and i felt realy calm and even hapopy beacuse i knew that Rich has gotten in his next life piesfully and that he will be happy there. I think that some day i might meat him but he won't look like he used to because he is in another body but he will still remember me and i still remember him too.

I have had my cat's cremated and have their urns at home. When I die I have left instructions to be cremated and all our ashes will be mixed and scattered.
