I got the news yesterday, and she is in a coma for 2 days after being scanned at the hospital. She used to be one of the healthiest grand-ma on earth, she has a strict diet, and she takes care of her cholosterol, sugar level, etc. What can I do to wake her up? I'm afraid that she'll never wake up anymore.

Astrid, I am sorry to hear that! Certainly, it does seem that your grand-ma was indeed, not only the healthiest grand-ma on earth, but also the luckiest one to have you as grand-daughter!! You are great, too.

There is very little you can really do to wake her up! Keep on praying and talking to her about what she's possibly likes most to hear from her great grand-daughter! All the best, and may she wake her up sooner, while you hold her hand besides her!

I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. I don't know if there is anyway to wake her up,but I'll tell you this when your at the hospital with her, just sit with her and talk to her. I've always heard that people in a coma can somehow hear when someone is talking to them. Read to her about something that she's been interested in. And the absolute best thing to do is put it all in Gods hands and pray. God be with you and your family.

If you can visit her, talk to her as much as you can. Sometimes they can hear you and sometimes they wake up. They do not always though. Sorry that your Grandmother is ill. Good Luck.

Pray for her. Don't stop praying for her until she either wakes up or passes on.
