My Calico Cat; Christine is not moving, nor drinking and or eating. I can't take her to a vet. I don't believe she'd make it. I've covered her because I believe it'd keep her from going into shock. She's been this way for a while.
I don't even have the cash to take her to a vet. Always believed that a living being (in this case, Christine) should live till the very nanosecond of her last breath. I don't want to be accused of murdering my own cat.
Out of respect, I read a prayer & blessed her.
I've had her since say. 1992 I think.

Just hold her until her last breath. Hold her near your heart. Sometimes living things draw strength from another living being to live through sickness.

Maybe she's just reached her time, I can understand why you're not taking her to the vet. It's most likely a waste of money, coz she's old (therefore fragile) and may not survive whatever operation the vet would probably perform, and by the symptoms you're describing, I would say that she is just dying of old age so the vet wouldn't be able to do much either. Spend this time giving her as much love as possible, then after she passes bury or cremate her. I'm sorry to hear about her, and good luck.

I pray to you, find someway to get your kitty to the vet. She needs medical treatment. They may be able to tell you whats wrong and how long she has left.. Christine may be suffering, and in pain so this would be the best thing.
Its hard to determine how long she has left because you havent stated what she looks like, or if her eyes or dilated or something.

Im really sorry to hear about your cat. Good luck! =(

I believe it's cruel to keep an animal alive when it's suffering. I understand you love her, but it might be time to let go. See if your vet will work out a payment plan with you. I had to have my 17-year-old Mira put down two years ago. It was the hardest thing I ever did but she was suffering. It's not murder, it's euthanasia.
