What are some ideas for going to bed early. I have to wake up around 7 but i'd really like to be able to wake up earlier on my own. I go to bed around 11 usually but i'd like to go to bed around 9-10 so what are some tips?

If I really want to get to bed what to do is-

First off if your a book adict like me, don't read before sleeping if your trying to go to bed soon!! I always get so into the book I don't want to stop.

What helps me sleep is to just let your mind wander. Think of boys, school, anything. I love to just lay down and think sometimes.

Wear warm, soft and comfortable pajamas and get under warm covers. Then think comforting thoughts and let yourself doze off.

Once you get into a cycle of going to bed at, say, 9:00, it will be easy to keep it. For those first couple nights when it would be hard to fall asleep, I suggest doing things that would make you tired early, like exercising. That's what I do when I have to wake up early.

Get into a regular routine.
Sleeping occurs in waves, when you feel one coming, then ride it to the shore.
Another technique is to go to sleep when the sun goes down so that you rise when the sun goes up

just take a relaxing bath and candles always help. turn up the heat and get under the covers and let your mind wonder while you listen to some soft jazz.

try to relax earlier read a book watch tv an hour or two before your target sleep time

Afte lots of exercise and and a nice bath, you'll get a nice sleep also.
