i met this guy and have been going out for about 2 months. The first month was magical. He told me that he loved me everyday, and treated me like a princess. He told me that i was the one he wanted to marry and spend the rest of his life with. But after that month, he started getting busy with his work and basically had no time for me. i started getting paranoid and called him every now and then to ask what he was doing. i could sense that something was wrong because he was treating me differently. Now he wants a break, he said that he wants to concentrate on his career now because it is important to him, and said to give him a month to think our relationship through. Should i just forget about him?

Wow thats really strange? I do think you should talk to him about it and ask him if its somebody else that he wants because that seems like it just happened out of the blue...if its only been a few months then maybe he feels scared that its starting to get serious or maybe his guys are teasing him cause he spends alot of time with you .. you shouldnt just let him run off if you really care about him.. but talk to him and tell him how you feel about him and how he makes you feel, maybe then hell understand that your more important then anything else..Good luck!

Well usually when a guy says something like that he is trying to let you down easy with out hurting you to bad. And there is a very high possibility that he is seeing another women. i would say let him go, and move on, after the second month, and he changes, he ain't worth your time, you need a man who will treat you great every day all day no matter how bad things get at school, at work, or just at home!

No, don't forget about him. But think it from his perspective. As a guy he wants to make sure he is stable and can support you & future family. Another thing: Love does not pay the rent! Give him his space, and be supportive - he will appreciate your understanding more. This guy sounds very decent. He has reeled you in and wants to protect his investment with a good future by making sure he is strong - respect that. If he screws up, atleast you know you did the right thing. But have faith in the guy...he loves you...and cares more about an eternal future with you than a temporary present...so please support him!!

well really, that was quick. using the "i love you and want to marry you" stuff during the first month. he was probably just trying to get into your pants and now he's in someone else's. sorry. forget him.

depends on what you really feel...sounds to me like things were moving a little too fast and he wants a cooling off period...either that or he has met someone else and he is waiting to see where that goes.....good luck

You were too aggressive. He needs more time alone than you do. Give him a break.

have a serious talk with him.
like: choose ur career or choose me . i`m not gonna wait any longer, this is your final decision.
&if he choose his career, forget him!
&if he choose u, then =]
