Definatly after cuz Ali was a young boy of around 10 when the prophet got his calling and Ali was the first BOY who embraced the truth!!
And yes he is the cousin of the prophet and for ur information Muslims have no problem in marrying cousins cuz they r not siblings so marrying first or second cousins is not a problem or a crime.
Also the son and daughter of step-parents are not regarded as siblings (the daughter of the mother from a previous marriage and the son of the man from previous marriage) cuz they have no blood relation and therefore is not incest to be married.

Imam Ali was the first male to accept the message of the Prophet; at that time, Imam Ali was only about ten years old, so, of course, he married Lady Fatima several years after that.

It was after the announcement by Muhammad of his prophecy. Ali was a young boy when this occurred and one of the things that Muhammad most praised and loved him for was his willingness to embrace "the Truth" and stand by it even as a child.

Let me ask you a question in the quran does it speak about a atomic bomb in the bible it does in the new testiment. Did you know that is how a prophet works he tells us the future and he comes to pass. Muhammad claims to fame is to great mericals the quran and spliting the moon. Tell folks the man muhammed was being instructed by demons and not God and Muhammed was not born of any prophets nor was he jewish which is were the prophets came from. So he came be a prophet as prophets are jewish. And they always will be. More over this man was a murdering nut who could not read or write he was confused about sex and enjoyed woman alot more then peopel want to admit. so this sexual pervert and murder is who you want to follow to get to know God.
