so i lost my drivers permit, it says on the DMV page i have to apply for a new one, does anyone know hoe long that will take..? do you think i could get away with getting it when i go to take my test? help please

That should take the same amout of time as the original took. I'd highly recommend that you not wait until your test appointment as you must have it in your possession when you take the the test. If there's any delay, you'll be left high and dry.
You need it to drive anyway, so take care of it immediately.

you have to produce both of your licences - paper and photo card when going for your test
it could take about 2-3 weeks before you get a new one sent - but obviously you cannot drive without it so is well worth getting a new one done
