Try watching english programs and movies and read english newspapers and magazines. Keep an english dictionary to find out the meaning of the unknown words. It will enrich ur vocabulary. Sometimes do a little thinking in english and speak to urself when alone.Better not to do it infront of ppl. Hope u can guess the reason why? :-) . Keep a diary and write ur thoughts in english on that. And of course try talking with ppl in english.

Whenever you speak with your family and friends speak only in english. Ask them to correct your pronunciation and grammer if you go wrong. Read a lot of english books.
Buy the book "Word power made easy by Noman Lewis. It's kind of an exercise book. It helps a lot.
If you want to improve your written english. Write a para everyday and ask your teacher to correct the mistakes. All the best!!!

Read a lot of novels, stories, poems, magazines or anything you fancy in English, listen to english news or programs on TV/ radio. Stick to good quality books and programmes. Then thank me in 6 to 8 months time.

the easiest way to improve your knowledge in English is to read 2 pages of a dictionary daily. Improves your vocabulary.

Study.....then study.....find assistance on concerns or confusion....then study more. Then say to yourself....there is no spoon and believe that you can talk english
