How can I tell if a shy boy likes me back?

Ok, so there is this guy I like, and I've liked him for the last three years. We dont talk much but we have shared moments. haha.
well back to subject. My friends think that he likes me back, but I am not so sure. My friend has caught him staring at me before, even though they were very subtle. We share the same intrests ect. Sometimes I feel that he hates me because he does in my opinion everything he can to avoid me! It drives me insane because I am quite poplular at school and I talk to everyone yet when I get around him I am at a loss for words.
I have been literally picked up and dragged to talk to him so I am pretty sure he knows unless his girl radar sucks haha.

I just dont know what to do! HELP! Any advice? Any type of signs that a shy guy would be intrested?

Subtlety is not a good approach with shy guys (I can be one myself at times). You need to just take control of the situation and just ask him out, you need to be making the first moves.

Go out socially with him and other friends for a few drinks and try and get him alone. Then all you gotta do is pounce on him ;)

Since you already stated that he's a little shy to just go up to him... if you two lock eyes again- try saying hi or doing a cute wave. If he is into you- he'll either say hi back and you'll start a casual converstaion (no pressure added). At the same time if this guy just never learned from his mother that it's not polite to stare- you just gave him a polite way of saying "what are you looking at?" without being rude.

if u like him, just take the first step be near to him. try to find out something to share and finally tell him i love u.

ask him to a movie and see what he does. or ask for or give your number or sceenname for IM. shy guys need a lot of encouragement.
