You can do that using OCR, i.ie., Optical Character Recognition.

first i am not clear about ur question if u want to insert picture in word it is so simple u can use it by insert picutre option or if u want to convert it into doc format it is available with HP printer and scanner it can covert it into any format so if u clearify ur question i can help in more clear manner thanks
