That depends on a lot of factors. What kind of mic is it? What kind of sound are you trying to record? What is the cause of the objectionable pops you are wanting to filter out?

If you are speaking of recording voice using a camcorder with a wired mic, the mic usually comes with an integrated 'pop' filter. Usually nothing more than piece of sponge dyed black. The idea behind it is that as you speak certain consonants (most notably 'B' and 'P' sounds) create an explosive rush of air from your lips and if you are using a hand held mic very close to your lips the mic can pick up the sound of the air rushing by.

BTW saying it is a dynamic mic means nothing. There are 2 types of microphones, dynamic and electret condenser. BOTH kinds vary in price from a few dollars up to thousands.

Without knowing more about your intended use I can't tell you much more.
