Well, actually she is looking for security. Do you earn something and do you have proper investment plans? I will suggest you to deposit her money in a joint account or in her account and don't use it for youself. Just keep it there and when she asks for it, just give her the card and ask her to help herself. Do the same for whatever you earn and bear your own expenditure. May be that will make her feel sure and secure about future prospects and that you are responsible enough to look for yourself too.

refuse to take it, if she forces it on you do NOT cash it just put it somewhere safe like an envelope in a drawer and when she complains just go get it, hand it to her and tell her that she earned her money and has nothing to complain about. Ask her WHY she gives you her check.
If you are unemployed she may be more of complaining about carrying everything on her shoulders rather than having 'no money' good luck

is she doing this becuase money is something she has control over. is she depressed about anything else. if she kept the money would she be buying anything.. is she trying to quit smoking and find this the only way- to not have money to buy the cig's.
can you talk to her about how you feel?
what kinda chick doesnt like money/shops?
instead of thrying to give her cash when you think she needs something etc, give her what she needs.
eg, you buy the food, a new manicure
goodluck

it's great that she is willing to give you her paycheck every week. however, you should give her a percentage of it to pay her bills or to just have some spending money. are you both saving money for a future investment? it will be so wrong if she gives you her paycheck and you spend it all. that's just wrong man! it just is

I think you two need to sit down and figure out what it costs you to live and then open an account in both names...each week you each deposit what you need to into that account....and let her take responsibility for the rest of her money....good luck

Why are you accepting her money? Sounds like you are just asking for trouble. Secondarily, I think you should reevaluate whether a woman who is disrespectful to you - is one that you wish to continue with.

She gives you her check and you don't have any money? Huh?
Forget that. Who cares if she is upset...as long as she keeps forking over the $$$$.

IMHO - You should not take her check. That way she will have no reason to complain. I think she has issues. Maybe she just likes to complain. I had a ex like that once , he just liked to have a reason to complain.

Don't cash her check. Just leave it on the table... or perhaps get her to have it deposited into account. She sounds co-dependent/passive-agressive to me.
