I installed it today on a PC, and I had a bit of trouble getting used to the new interface. Given that it is more secure than IE6, and has more features, I thought it would be best to get used to the new interface, and be done with it. However, in the end, I backed it out and went back to IE6. One of my core websites would not work properly with it, and this meant that I had to go back to IE6 (Unfortunately ,the website in question is not supported on IE7). This is my experience, but you may find it may work OK for you. Eventually I will update to IE7, but right now is too early. As one of the other posters said, I would wait a couple of months before updating.

I have installed it and i think it has a nice new layout. It also has new security features such as phishing. It has a tab browsing feature and you can also resume from your last tabs the next time you open your browser. I recommend that you try it.

But it has this aweful Validation tool, if your copy of XP is not genuine and original, then you will be in trouble.

However if your using a dodgy copy of Windows - Pirated - be aware it will not pass the Windows Validation test and will not install.

never install new software for the first 3 months of it's release (let the other people be the gunneu pigs) otherwise, yes. It's fine but as usual it's bloat ware. new feature to do tabbed browsing like firefox. unless you absolutely need to do it, it's not all that it's cracked up to be.

Firefox 2 is much more stable and efficient. I whole-heartily recommend it as its skinning and add-on options are overly superior to Microsoft.

Yes you can, but try it only if you have genuine OS i.e.windows XP.
Else it wont work and you have to roll it back and you might experience some problems after that in your system.
