I push in, pull out, jiggle, turn it outwards, inwards. Everyway possible and the radio still won't come out. Sometimes it sounds like I'm tearing stuff up in there. Please help.

Insert U hooks with barb facing inwards as far as possible. Should go in about 1/2 to 1 inch.

apply light outward pressure to both U hooks and slowly, with light up and down movement, pull stereo out of dash.

The stereo's are in tight so as to prevent rattle. It may take a few trys.

The U Hook dislodges the stereo holders and the barbs help to grasp the unit for removal.

Sometimes people or manufactures secure the radio from behind with a metal bar or strap, both to hold it in place, and also to act as a good ground. Look for one of those.

Here's an excellent web site for you to try: installdr.com

Try it, I'm SURE it will answer your question. It willl tell you how to do any radio in any car. It even includes wiring diagrams and directions for removal and installation and photos. Just follow their directions.

Shovelkic hit it on the head. Thats exactly how those little U hooks should be used. It most likely will take a few trys and it will feel like you are doing it wrong. However, its much easier than taking the dash out as you have to do in some vehicles.
