It most likely hurts you because you still like him. My advise to you is this... Try not to think about him and even though it hurts forget about him and move on. Since he already had a girlfriend it means that he has no intentions of getting back with you. Get over it and meet new people. Don't get stuck on one person because every second that you spend feeling bad over him are seconds that you can spend finding the right guy for you... The guy that will make you feel special and treat the way you deserve to be treated!!!

The fact that he has a new gf should make his "standing" loud and clear to you. You can never "force" anyone to love you or to bring back those lost feelings, so move on!!! You are hurt because you may still care for him and of the thought that he has moved on and you have not. You do not have any option to accept the TRUTH and go on with your life. Time can heal all wounds , I promise you, eventually, you will be meeting Mr. Right' and you don't want that chance to pass just because you refused to let bygones be bygones.

Hmmm... it's quite understandable. You know, you're hurt because it was not a clean break up. You feel like he's cheated on you or something. Don't know what you were expecting... maybe that he was the first one to make a move to continue this relationship but you didn't make an effort either. But i'll answer only your question and you've got it. Move on to life now.

It could be that you are not completely over him yet, because you never had much closure. And I would imagine that it's hard to see him end things with you, only to move onto another relationship so soon.
I think the feelings that you are feeling are only natural given what happened. Don't be so hard on yourself, and give yourself time to heal and time to get over him. I'm sure that him dating someone else will bother you less when you start dating someone else as well.

He doesn't want a commitment right now because he's young and in college. He started really getting into you and then starting giving you the silent treatment because it was easier for him than telling you the truth about what's going on.

You're in college and you spell like that? Has our educational system gone to hell? Forget about him and pick up the pieces. Grow from the pain.
