And have you ever wondered why Empires like Rome as well as others have fallen right after they accepted Homosexuality and tried to remove God from their government? Its seems to me that history has proven that this type of decision has had adverse effects. USA= Sodom & Gamorra #2

I'm getting history lessons who say Jesus was a homosexual? Thats garbage. Jesus was not gay. Nor was he ever married. Da Vinci was a liar. None of his stories are true.

Interesting that you use Rome as an example since Rome fell AFTER Christianity became the official religion of the Roman Empire.

As much as I would love to make some analogy about how Christianity actually destroys nations, it is simply not true either. Historical, archaeological, and anthropological evidence all show that nations and empires rise and fall in predictable stages of growth, stagnation, and death.

As a nation, the United States continues to grow and evolve. However, once it reaches a point of social and economic stagnation, it will be a matter of just a few hundred years before the empire crumbles.

It has nothing at all to do with religion.

How can you be so smug to say that God founded America? Or even helped? Didn't Jesus say that the Kingdom of God was no part of this world? If you believe that, then you are not going to tell me that God helped America. People should not be so quick to condemn others and should worry about keeping their relationship with God a good one.

The Roman Empire did not fall because they accepted homosexuality. There were many reasons for the fall of the Roman Empire. Each one intertwined with the next. Many even blame the introduction of Christianity for the decline. Christianity made many Roman citizens into pacifists, making it more difficult to defend against the barbarian attackers. Also money used to build churches could have been used to maintain the empire.

The burden of policing and protecting the world was too great, and after the staggering cost of World War II, the British Empire dissolved within a few decades. I don't seem to recall any connection to homosexuality in the fall of the British Empire.

Going back further, we see the rise and fall of other empires: Napoleon's French Empire. The Ottoman Empire. The Islamic Empire. The Roman Empire. The Hellenistic Empire of Alexander the Great. The Persian Empire. Babylon. Assyria. Egypt of the pharaohs. Show me historic evidence of your claim as to why any of those empires fell.

I believe the American Empire will fall but not because of loving people who honor and respect one another but rarther it will fall because of all the divisions being placed in the American people, divisions purposely put there by groups of fanatics like Christians and power hungry businesses. People who won't accept and honor others will be the fall of this empire. A nation divided can not stand. Stop being so hateful and decisive and maybe it won't be too late to save America.

America can only become great again when the people learn to accept differences and live together peacefully. Stop pointing fingers and promoting hatred. Equal rights for all citizens is necessary for freedom to strive, It is the radical Christian agenda which is causing this country to divide and fall.

When the "white man" arrived in the New World, there were already well developed civilizations here. The Aztecs and Incas. However along with his guns and cannons, the Spanish brought WMDS.. (White Man's Diseases) which by some estimates wiped out 90% of the Native American population.

The conquest of the New World was made much easier as a result. Cortes and Pizarro were each able to defeat a major empire not so much by force of arms but by the fact that both empires were devastated by disease, smallpox being the one at the top of the list.

I think the fact the "Christian nations" were able to subdue the New World was not so much because God wanted it that way but because the white man was disease ridden and the Native Americans had no immunity. It could have worked the other direction just as easily.

Manifest Destiny!

Hell no. As I believe has been said, the greek and Roman Empires survived for far longer than the USA has been going accepting bisexuality as the norm and occasionally viewing a certain amount of homosexuality as being a respectable thing. If anything happened "just before" the fall of Rmoe it was converting to Christianity, something which made Christianity infinitely more popular but also practically destroyed the religion itself.

u.s. replaced into no longer a theocracy.... countless the States have been. yet u.s. as an entire replaced into no longer.... this is why the Europeans got here right here... to get faraway from the Church working the Gov't. The Founding Fathers themselves wrote own letters and memoirs concerning that very factor. So why could they set up it as such? Overt and unabashed non secular expression by employing Gov't officers..... see you later because it replaced into in basic terms Christian. Why is it so unfair to the Christians whilst different religions choose for an analogous freedoms? i think you do no longer see us as equals in accordance with faith. And, sorry, yet Abortion and gay Marriage are themes interior of ALL religions... no longer in basic terms yours. i'm undecided the place you get the theory each and every person of this originated with a 2000 year old faith... those have been themes before then.... and in case you are going to assert it replaced into all based on the Bible... then this is Jewish standards we are going by employing..... no longer Christian. Christianity is a branch off of Judaism... Christianity isn't an unique, unique faith by employing any means. Now lower back, why is it that those non secular freedoms you communicate approximately, it in basic terms shows how disenchanted you're that Christianity won't be able to do it an analogous way it used to... and not say something approximately equality in a mundane Gov't. and that i ask which you do one seek.... seem up Treaty of Tripoli.

No mostly natural resources stolen and agricultural success on the backs of slaves were of the most atrocious contributions to the success of this country and further one might argue seperation of govt and religion has helped. You may believe whaterver you want in the USA but you can't act out against the law regardless of your beliefs . some think homosexuality was the downfall of the roman empire but it was more complicated that the roman guard became lax and subject to domination by germanic tribes. When you read history find opposing views as historians sometimes lie as well or just inadvertantly mislead .

It seems to me that in the early years when they were not worried about homsexuality or religion much ther Roman Empire was expanding and prospering. After they made Christianity the State religion in 325 under Constantine they were doomed and the Empire collapsed in short oerder. Just goes to show the power of religion to influence the wellbeing of a state.

You are quite correct to say GOD indeed was greatly involved in the creation of this nation. Our constituation even speaks of our duty to GOD and it speak of mans right to worship God. More then that is the facts of the creation of this nation. A jewish bussinesman financed the war for the new nation. With out his help we would not exist. Thus we help Israel. In and on every building in Washington DC you will find holy scripture. Our nation forfathers actually promoted the christian lifestype and they have prayed to God in the preparing of the decleration of independance and the constituation. And spoke of God in both.
One can conclue many things but as to weather God was involved in the creation of this nation one can only conclude that GOD himself helped establish this nation. No matter what the masses are declaring this week,

With all the deaths of the Native Americans yes. Nothing in the constitution says this is a christian nation.

Actually no it wasn't. Thomas Jefferson himself once said that he found nothing redeeming in the Christianity. Many of the founding fathers fought to create a nation where religious tolerance was the norm, not a national religion.
