Petra's right. You need around 400 mm (equiv) or so to be able to get "natural" photos without scaring away the animals. There are limitations to the S3-IS, but I agree that it's the best choice if you aer in the budget range of an A700. To go with a DSLR would cost you a couple thousand, including a decent lens.

For wildlife shots from a compact to prosumer digital camera...the minimum I would suggest would be 12x optical zoom, which is about the best you can get.
And in Canon, that would be the S3 IS.

But, for decent wildlife photos you really need a good digital SLR with a long lens.

Birders use at least a 500 or 600mm lens, often with teleconverters. (And heavy tripods)
6x might be enough for trips to the zoo or nature park, or for suburban deer and turkeys that are accustomed to humans. Not really long enough for wild wildlife.

just look and search for any good digital cameras, dont look on zooming type becasue sometimes its not clear and its blurred. Just go to any store and look for a new camera so taht you can choose and think whats the best.

You might consider the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H2 which I own.
12X optical, 6MP.
