when you tell a girl that she should stop smoking, and she tells you that she needs to because she has too much **** to thing about and she needs to smoke because it helps her relive stress, and to stop judging her and you tell her that youre not judging her and she can do whatever she wants but that youre just saying that there are other ways to relive stress. and she just stops talking to you.

She knows the risks, she's trying to tell you she's genuinely not ready. It's really thoughtful of you to care about her health, no doubt she knows this too, but she's just not ready. You've got to take her and help her with the stress she's dealing with, or maybe find someone who doesn't smoke if it's a real issue 4 you. I've tried to get guy's 2 quit-no dice. Either accept or move on.

oh for god's sake nothing annoy's me more than non smoker's preaching. Look she will realise one day what smoking is doing to her health, and when she decides to give up she will. You cant make her and in all honesty you annoying her will just want her to smoke more. I work in a mad hotel and my only break is a 5min one which i use to smoke because if i didnt have a cig id probably go insane, so im doing it for the safety of the guests

nothing does it better than telling the girl that u care about her , and her also meaning her health , and u wouldn't want her to ever get hurt... tell her to talk to u about whatever may be wrong... help her out man, thats wut friends are for... say that u still like her as a person but ur worried about what may happen to her and all that stuff i said above

unfortunately you cannot force her to stop if she doesnt want to, but if she got mad at you for your good intentions and your concerns for her health then i would think twice. if you still wanted to give it a shot i would talk to her gently and help her find some other alternative for her releiving stress. if you cant stand her smoking and she refuses to even try to give up or listen to you when you voice your concerns, id say that she really isnt worth your concern as she doesnt really care that she is slowly killing herself

Same thing as if your telling a kid they can't have a certain toy anymore....They want that one thing and they will stick to that one thing sometimes cause they're familiar with it and afraid of change....Alls you can do is give her time to think about what you said.....if thats something she wants to do then so be it.....you can't change someone who doesnt want to help themselves...

even though you're right, you probably shouldn't point out flaws in a girl.
truuuuuuuust me, i hate it when my boyfriend tells me i'm doing something wrong, or critiques me... he may be right sometimes, but it drives me insane.
i'm sure she'll talk to you but try not to tell her she's doing anything wrong, i guess she'll have to figure the smoking thing out on her own.
