Depends if you want it rich or not. Something I would always recommend which is refreshing and packed with vitamin C too - great for warding off ills of all sorts, particularly after a time of excess is as follows:-
Kiselis
A bag of frozen mixed berries or single sort berries - I like cherries or black currants or rasperries best, but any soft fruit will do.
Sugar or sweetener (ie canderel if you are diabetic)
Cold water
Cinnamon stick
Red wine
Juice of a lemon
couple of crushed cloves
a little cornflour or agar agar mixed with water to thicken
Put fruits of any sort into a large saucepan. Cover with sugar and cold water until just over.
Put in rest of ingredients except thickener and allow to come to a boil and then simmer until fruit becomes mushy.
Remove cinnamon and cloves and allow to cool slightly. You could leave the cloves in - just warn partner that they might be there.
Whizz in liquidiser or food processor and return to pan. Add more wine or water if result becomes too reduced.
Mix the cornflour with water and add to soup last few minutes and stir until thickened.
Serve with a biscuit or similar and a dollop of creme fraiche or whipped or single cream.
Comfort food!
Note:- if you do not have a food processor or liquidiser just pass through a sieve - unless you want whole fruit of course.
ENJOY hot or cold.
Happy New Year!

Cooked mango?
Get a mango, ordinary superstore will do, Peel it..and slice it in half and remove the stone in the middle
Heat up a very shallow pan,
add some butter (low salt, so it doesn't spoil the taste of the mango),
add some Sugar and a bit of malt vinegar.
when the butter has melted and it starts to look like its going to be caramelised add the two half's of the mango to it.
DO NOT stir the mango, it tastes better when it is caramelised on one side only.
Let the mango go brown and remove it from the pan and serve as is.
Very quick and simple desert dish that tastes very EXOTIC.
(you could if you wanted add your fav alcoholic beverage to the mix as well, and use the left over sauce in the pan to do a presentation around the mango when you have dished it up.)

Many common natural remedies are claimed to have blood sugar lowering properties that make them useful for people with or at high risk of diabetes. Learn here https://tr.im/VSmAq
A number of clinical studies have been carried out in recent years that show potential links between herbal therapies and improved blood glucose control, which has led to an increase in people with diabetes using these more 'natural' ingredients to help manage their condition.

What could be better than a homemade ice-cream. Rum and dark chocolate is my favorite or for something romantic, how about Rose flavour?
