Uh.. gaining weight just doesn't happen, unless there's a serious medical problem.. You know, anxiety and depression really impact weight gain. Are you making her depressed, or is anything in her life causing stress? Help her, if you really love her. Looks aren't everything, either. If she is overweight to the point that it could damage the quality of her life, she should lose weight.. but it's pretty sad that people can be so shallow. I really hope you do the right thing.

Why would you take her back? Do the girl a favor and break up with her. You shouldn't be with someone if you think of them as a "fat pig" . Let the girl go. I want you to call her right now and end it. That way you're happy and in the long run she'll be happy too.

You really need a hobby or something if all you can do is sit around on the computer obsessing about how your girlfriend gained weight. Maybe she has a health problem or maybe you're stressing her the **** out, that could cause her to gain weight. You are just a chauvinist a******.

It's shallow because you put greater importance on a person's looks than on their personality, intelligence, sense of humor, or anything of character. Sucks for you, because you will never be happy. All the cute skinny girls will get old, and even if they don't get fat, they will still get saggy, wrinkly and old, and then you're left with an ugly person with a horrible personality and no brains. Or you'll just end up lonely.

If you want a skinny girlfriend, that's fine. Just let this one go. If she gets skinny and hot and wants you back just don't get back with her. You do not want her for deeper emotional reasons and you are not required to. Therefore, don't play with her emotions by coming and going with the weight thing.
Go out and find someone else. Meet someone at a gym or dance club where there's other body obsessed people.

my best friend lost weight to get her boyfriend back. well, she starved herself and ended up with an eating disorder. she may be thin and pretty, but she's still the same person you broke up with. and no, she wont get fat on the next guy, because if she lost weight for you, she's probally got an eating disorder like my friend did. dont lead her on into thinking you're going to take her back. remember, she's the same person she was before, only with an eating disorder now. and who cares if she gets fat. fat girls rule! leave us alone!

Just do her on the side once she loses weight but don't let her back.
It's not shallow...it's appropriate...it was in "the contract" that she not gain the weight in the first place.

She deserves better...weight is only a health issue. She should drop you and find someone who will love her and not the way she looks.

Its shallow because a woman isn't just her body...and in the end, you get what you deserve, always remember that.
