It originated from Paganism. Christmas spreads greed and hate. Christmas is never mentioned in the bible. Why do we celebrate a satanic holiday in a Christian nation?

Christmas was never mentioned in The Bible because it didn't exist until The 4th century. It is the result of a merging of the cult of Christ and the cult of Mithra as a political expedient. The birth of Mithra was already being celebrated on the 25th of December when the cult of Christ became the official religion of Rome. The date was kept and the celebration became that of the birth of Christ.

However, the way we currently celebrate Christmas is a blend of about 11 different religions that existed throughout Europe up to the 15th century as a result of Christianity adopting pagan practices to assimilate converts.

The United States is not, nor was it ever, a Christian nation. However, if it were, then the answer to your question lies in your own cults history. Had the Christians not built their churches over pagan shrines to hoodwink the locals, adopted their holy days, destroyed their holy texts, and enslaved them in a feudal system which rewarded the ignorant, then the United States would be the size of Maine, and would be celebrating the birth of their deity sometime in the late spring/early summer instead of on the birth date of another God.

It is at least comforting however, to see that the cult of Christ still rewards ignorance. At least they are consistent in that. I'm certain they think highly of you.

No it is not a SATANIC Holy-Day.
Pagans do not believe in SATAN and do not worship this Deity.
The CHRISTIAN CHURCH put the birth of the CHRIST child on this date to try and put an end to the Roman festival of Saturnalia. The other Pagans celebrated the Holy -Day of Yule that falls before CHRIST-MASS. it falls on the Winter solstice (DEC 20-03) And is their New Year celebration.
This is not a completely Christian Nation . Even the Constitution is based on English laws( the Magna Carta for one.).And many of the founding fathers belonged to so called secret societies. Such as the Masons.

Paganism does not equate belief in Satan. "Paganists" such as the ancient Celts celebrated Nature. Satan is a Christian construct/figure, so your equation does not fit.

Christmas did not "originate" from the "pagan" holy day of Yule, per se, but was created by the Pope to coincide/replace that Sabbat. Because of this, Christmas is a papal holiday.

You are extremely misled. Paganism, yes, Satanic, no. Pagans do not recognize satan in any way, shape or form. If you read about Paganism, you'll gain knowledge. You came to a conclusion that you automatically though was right to everone else, but unless you know what you're talking about, don't come to assumptions.

I'm a Satanist and know more about Paganism because I was Pagan for a little while. I actually read up on it.

This isn't a christian nation either. Otherwise, god wouldn't have gotten kicked out of schools.

It's a pagan holiday called Yule. Paganism is a peaceful religion that has absolutely nothing to do with greed or hate.
There is no Satan in paganism, Satan is a concept developed by Christianity. Pagans and Yule have been around for thousands of years more than either Christianity or Satan.

Paganism worships the creation instead of the Creator.
I wouldn't go as far as to say it's Satanic. Just ignorant.
Evil has worked it's way into everything. Even the Church. But if one weeds the pagan symbolism and material greed out of the Holiday. It can still be what it always was. A time of goodwill to humanity.

I don't know where you have been for the rest of your life..
But, Christmas is Christian ANSWER to pagan holiday. We celebrated Christ and spread his teachings of love and peace.

Since you are too busy trying to label everybody a satanist, you have missed on a lot.
Please take out first the log inside of your eyes before you bother taking out a speck of wood from your brethren.

It isn't Satanic. It is Constantine's birthday. It is an important holiday.

Whether you look at it as a Christian or not, it is about light returning to the world after the solstice. Jesus is the light of the world for Christians. It is an entirely appropriate holiday.

You seem like a misguided Grinch!

I believe you are refering to the festival of Saturnalia which was celebrated by the Romans at this time of the year. As I understand it, early Christians celebrated the birth of Jesus at this same time to hide this from others and avoid persecution.

Although the Bible does not mention the time of year Jesus was born, there were wise men who came bearing gifts. Isn't Christmas the time we celebrate the birth of Jesus regardless of what month He was actually born? It is for me and my family.
