Hello Madison

If your having a problem with allignment on the course it could very well be that you actually are setting up the same every time, and as you have stated in your question that almost every lay on the course is different. This calls for a different setup each time.

Now the first thing to do is look at the lay of the ball, is it below or above the feet, is it an uphill or downhill lay. Once determined you then set up accordingly, the ball below the feet will normally move to the right so set up slightly open, the ball above the feet will normally move left so set up square to slightly closed.

Once you have set up just hold the club with both hands across your body on the same line as your shoulders, ( not you feet ) take a glance without moving your shoulders and then trust the swing. The imaginary line of the club and your shoulders should point to your target, which may not be the pin based on what the flight of the ball will be.

0k..the next time your on the range.. notice your ball position..and memorize it. then. notice ur stance width and memorize it. then, the next step, when yoyur on the range pick different targets, like the distance sticks. to cheak YOU are aligned, place ur club across ur chest and tilt ur head to see if it is facing towards the flag or target. the best way to maintain a consistant ball flight is to have a practice routine. like walk behind the ball, pick a tiny thing like a leaf between the target andyour ball, preferably closer to your ball. then yu walk up to ur ball. place ur bak leg and square the club face to the leaf. put your other leg right next to ur bak leg. then square it to the leaf as well. check the target. spread ur feet. keep square. look at the target again. wiggle :]. then hit the ball. do this on the range for a whole basket get used to it. then bring it to the course. u can change the routine if u like. keep an eye out for proffessionall's routines. good luck :].

The problem is on the range you have to back away are reset up everytime. Leave the balls in the bucket, walk back and get on and reset up each time. That will help you when you get on the course. Everything will become habbit.
