Is it true that prophet Mohamed married a Christian? I just want to know if this is true. I posted this question with another question, but I didn't get any response...Shouldn't both religions be side by side against all odds?

Yes he did, and he also married a Jew and a pagan. If he did marry he only married to set an example that it's OK to merry someone from that religion or that culture. Also it's not like they where super models. He married widowed divorced woman. If he was a womanizer he would have married any one of the beautiful woman who came to ask for his hand. If you wish to learn more you shouldn't come here. you don't know who could answer you here a hater or a real Muslim. So it's best to go to Islam.org. peace!

I can say that it is allowed here in the islamic religion for a Muslim man to marry a Christian woman but a woman is not to marry a christian man!
As for your question Islam began with the prophet you see none in his time was could have know islam until him you see so i am sure this is true and you can believe he taught islam and all the wives of his was converted to islam right away loved him dearly and they worship together the one and true Allah ta'ala!!

Yes, He had lots of wives from different backgrounds including Jewish. I believe the Christian Girl he married name was Maria.

My Bible says that Jesus Christ is "the way, the TRUTH and the life and that NO MAN comes to the Father but by Him." Until both sides can agree on that it's a moot point who married whom. Bottom line is Mohamed is dead and Jesus is alive. Those who pray to or worship anyone else are wasting their time.

A Muslim man can marry non-muslims but their offspring are muslim. This is why the women cannot marry a non-muslim because the child takes the fathers religion...

Hmm...I have never heard of but in Islam muslim men can marry non -muslim women. Unfortunately he same is not valid for muslim women. They aren't allowed to marry a non -muslim man
