im thinking of getting a 94-96 impala ss but im worried about what people will think of me beacuse im hispanic and the only people i see driving these cars are either blacks or hispanics and are always playing there rap music and ratling the windows on the block.
ive always liked these cars but dont feel like getting pulled over everyday im far from a ghetto person but is this car just asking for trouble.

im not planing on doing anything to the car i plan on keeping it bone stock beacuse i drive alot and need a large comfortable car for the long hauls.

what i mean by ghetto the people i see driving these are either gang members or look a like gang members with the white t shirts down to there knees and the rap music shaking the whole block i was not saying all black/mex people are ghetto just the people who choose to dress like they are.

all kind of people own these cars. i own a 95 caprice and like mmcall200 also belong to www.impalassforum.com . just log on and you will see that people of all walks of life enjoy these cars.

You don't say where you live but No Way is it a ghetto car! I'm a 44 year old white guy with a '96. Check out www.impalassforum.com for a great bunch of guys who love the 94 - 96 Impalas, and B-body cars and really know their stuff. I'm on the forum as Brewdawg so shoot me a PM.

EVERYONE IS IN TITLED TO THERE OWN OPINION. BUT I THINK THIS IS A STUPID WAY TO CATEGORIZE PEOPLE AND CARS. WHEN THE CAR MAKERS MAKE CARS THEY DON'T SET ASIDE A GHETTO CAR FROM A HIGH CLASS CAR, THEY JUST MAKE THEM. AND THE PEOPLE THAT BUY THEM GET THEM BECAUSE THEY LIKE THEM NOT BECAUSE THEY'RE GHETTO OR HIGH CLASS. AND YOU SAID THAT YOU'RE HISPANIC AND YOU SEE HISPANICS DRIVING THE CARS AS WELL AS THE BLACK SO THAT MEANS THAT YOU'LL BE CATEGORIZED AS GHETTO AS WELL AS THE OTHER PEOPLE OF YOUR RACE RIGHT, OR DOES THAT NOT APPLY TO YOU? Don't worry about what people will think,it's none of their business. Don't go through life with that feeling. Who are they to judge? Are you buying the car for you, or them? If they don't approve, simply tell the person that you would be happy to drive any car they will buy you out of their own pocket. And if all else fails, run them over with the car!!! But, first check for video cameras in the area. No, I shouldn't have said that, it's too hard to clean body parts out of the front grill.

Depends on what you do to your car. Any car can be a ghetto car. But if you are a classic collector and restore it to it's original form, no body would think ghetto.
