I doubt theres really an qualitative answer to this question, though there are probably many quantitative offerings. As an aside i believe islam has surpassed christianity in number of followers, or it is suspected it will be shortly.
back to my point however, within each of the religions you mention and amongt many others, there are individulas who both believe fervently in their religion, and others who affiliate themselves with a particular faith, who do not really practice the faith or allow it to have much of an impact in their daily life. Most likely all religious belief (irrespective of the actual religion) is on a bit of a continum, ranging from devout belief (probably to the degree that one would be willing to sacrifice everything for their faith) to non-practicing (affiliation only for the purposes that it provides a social necesity).

I do not exactly know which religion do people believe in more. But Islam is the religion of one true God. Muslims believe that "There is one God and Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is His Messenger.
Islam is not following any religion as people thought Christianity (Who believe in Trinity God, Son and Holy Ghost). Islam never said like that.
Muslims never converted to any other religion but if you see one million Christians have converted to Islam in last some years and even are converting with out any force. Because they are coming near to the truth.
I am a firm believer of Islam. And I am respecting every religion but following only Islam. I hope every one should do the same, i mean they should follow their religion and respect all and search about the truth..
thanks!!!!

In order by percentage of world population:
Christians 33.03% (of which Roman Catholics 17.33%, Protestants 5.8%, Orthodox 3.42%, Anglicans 1.23%)
Muslims 20.12%
Hindus 13.34%
Buddhists 5.89%
Sikhs 0.39%
Jews 0.23%
other religions 12.61%
non-religious 12.03%
atheists 2.36% (2004 est.)
Chinese is not a religion, but a nationality. Most Chinese are Taoist or Buddhist. Unfortunately, since China is officially atheist and people are not allowed to survey religious preferences in China, that provides a huge source of error.

Or it is gaining ground because more people are learning about it through the main teachings instead of what it has become on TV.
In any case, Chrisitanity is the religion with the largest members.
