I've known this guy for about 9 years. We dated in college and we were really into each other. While we were together my ex caused trouble when he found out I was with someone else, and this guy thought I was still with my ex so he backed off. We still saw each other on and off, but it wasn't the same anymore. After school we went our separate ways. Later, we ran into each other at a mutual friend's house and kept in touch. I have been separated for a while and am currently going through a divorce. I have always had strong feelings for him and now we have a chance to make it work. He told me he was talking to someone, but since we decided to try to make things work, he told her he couldn't talk to her anymore. He said it wasn't serious and he wanted to start off right with me. The other day he told me he was going out of town for New Year's. I am curious if he is going with the boys or a girl. Should I ask or keep my mouth shut since we just decided to try things out again?

sounds like something oh to very similiar to something i went through also. my advice...dont trust him, and keep tabs on em'. I would never keep my thoughts of feelings reserved if i felt that strongly about someone or something! Do what ur heart is telling u, and also ur gut. be straight with him and make sure your face to face, it will catch him off guard a bit. be blunt, and classy yet honest. wish u the best of luck. and if he hurts you, dont let it make you bitter, let it make you wiser! good luck woman!now go get your man!!!!!!

He did say he was willing to start right with you and hes already committed himself by not 'talking' to the woman he was talking to before so I think you can ask, just don't be crazy or possessive....and try to bring it up in conversation.

i think you should just wait and see what happens because if he is only going out with the guys it will make things worse because he'll think you dont trust him. if he is with another girl then you need to end it.

You should trust him...if you have no trust in him your relationship won't work...but I just wonder why he isn't going to be with you on New Years...good luck...
