Any guy that carries respect towards his mother has undoubtedly been raised well and therefore has been taught the importance of respect towards all women.

As a woman I would say yes. I say yes because my boyfriend has a great relationship with his mother. I think that a guy who has a great relationship with his mother will understand and treat women with more respect than a guy who doesn't. I don't think that because you have a relationship with your mother that makes you a mommas boy. Personally I love a mommas boy. That means that they are going to take good care of me as well as momma. So go ahead and be a mommas boy.

Yes, a women can get a good indication of how she will be treated based on the relationship he has with his mother, as well as other women in his life (ex. sisters, grandmother) If a man respects, honors and treats his mother well, then most women can be insured he will respect her the same way.

As long as its not too close (almost unnatural) or mamma's boyish, then its a good thing. It will give you some insight on how he feels about, respects and treats women as a whole.
