No. Gill B is correct. Best you can manage direct from Stanstead in that direction is Cambridge, Peterborough, Leicester.
Travel via Tottenham Hale - Then Victoria Line to Euston & train from there.

Well not entitely sure about Northampton,but I think it does.There is a train every 15mins to Liverpool Street,from where you can reach amost all UK destinations.However I believe you can reach Norths.from airport

probably.but birmingham airport might be closer to northampton ,you can check on google road maps uk.or maybe luton airport is closer.
